July 15, 2008Sounds like an ice cream flavor right? It’s no ice cream flavor. It can’t get even close to ice cream seeing that it doesn’t bring any sweet delight. Why? It’s what I dub on our new hospital situation right now. Patients are coming in “schools/platoons/herds/groups!” They arrive indefinitely. It goes beyond counting, that we extended our beds at the alley. Maybe, soon, they will have to build a custom made bed, wherein patients are laid on a triple deck or quadruple deck and they are positioned by row and by column. So that irregardless of the tiny space, we will be able to accommodate them in a vertical perspective. So by that time when we look for patients, there will be a certain Mr. X on row4 column11. Greater number of patients, but the same number of healthcare providers. How is that? Talk about quality healthcare???
